From 1 February, 2024, our Trust will deliver Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for north east Hampshire.

Hampshire CAMHS is currently provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and commissioned by Hampshire Isle of Wight and Frimley Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Following a recent independent review of mental health and community services, Frimley ICB has decided to integrate the north east Hampshire CAMHS into its geographical area with our Trust providing these services. This will provide greater geographical alignment of services, reduce inequalities, and improve population health across Frimley and it will align adult and children’s services under a single NHS provider.

We already deliver children and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health services for Surrey through Mindworks Surrey. In the longer term, the plan is to work with Frimley ICB to transform and integrate the north east Hampshire CAMHS into Mindworks Surrey, but until then north east Hampshire CAMHS will operate separately.

We’re working closely with Sussex Partnership and NHS Frimley ICB to safely manage the transfer and to ensure that we keep people who use services, families and carers, and NHS colleagues at the forefront of this change.

More information on these services is available here.
