About the study
This study aims to assess how easy it is to use a digital medication system - called MyCite - which is designed to keep track of when anti-psychotic medication is taken.
There are three parts to the system:
- A tablet that contains an ingestible (can be swallowed) sensor
- A sensor patch that is worn on your chest like a sticky bandage
- A software system that can see information from the patch on a smartphone or computer.
The system is supposed to help people remember to take their medication and this research is testing whether medication adherence does improve as a result.

If you are aged 18-65, have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder or first episode psychosis and are currently taking aripiprazole, olanzapine, quetiapine or risperidone anti-psychotic medications (in tablet form) we would really like to hear from you.
