FoCUS: Forum of Carers and People Who Use Services
Our Forum of Carers and people who use our Services is a way of having your say about the way we do things and helping us improve services. The area groups meet on a regular basis to provide people with the opportunity to hear about what is happening in the Trust and feedback comments or concerns about the health and social care of people with mental ill-health or learning disabilities.

Improving access to health services
Our liaison nurses have produced several videos to guide GP and hospital based colleagues on how to improve the experiences of people with a learning disability who need to access mainstream health services. Topics include communication, behaviours that challenge, reasonable adjustments, best interest decisions and the Mantal Capacity Act
