How We Make Decisions
-
Your Involvement
Our members are people who use services, the public and staff. They contribute to the organisation on a voluntary basis and we count on them for feedback, local knowledge and support. Members elect people who use services, public and staff representatives to the Council of Governors so their voice is heard. We are governed by an elected Board of Governors who hold us to account for our performance. The governors, with the support of our members, ensure our work is in keeping with our values, meeting the needs of our local communities and supporting everyone who use our services.

About Foundation Trusts
Foundation Trusts are part of the NHS, providing free care based on the needs of the local population. We have to meet NHS standards and are accountable for our performance to NHS Improvement, the independent regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts.
