Liaison Nurses
Our acute and primary care liaison nurses work work with hospitals and GPs to ensure people with a learning disability are able to access health services.

Improving access to health services
Our liaison nurses have produced several videos to guide GP and hospital based colleagues on how to improve the experiences of people with a learning disability who need to access mainstream health services. Topics include communication, behaviours that challenge, reasonable adjustments, best interest decisions and the Mantal Capacity Act
